The Morwell Customer Service Centre is at 87 Princes Drive, Morwell VIC 3840, open 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Bookings go through your myVicRoads account or on 13 11 71. Arrive at least 15 minutes early. Testing officers run tight schedules and a late arrival can cost you the appointment and the fee.
- Pass the Hazard Perception Test. Available online via myVicRoads. Leave a few days spare in case you need a second go.
- 120 logged hours if you're under 21 — 20 of them at night. Missing supervisor details are the top reason applications get rejected.
- 12 months on your Ls if you're under 21. Shorter if you're older, check VicRoads for current rules.
- Be 18 to sit the drive test. HPT can be done from 17 years 11 months.
- Bring your permit card and logbook. There's a quick eyesight check before you drive.
