Stop-and-go driving school drive test package for $250 which includes:
- Pick up from your chosen location.
- 45 minutes pre-drive test lesson.
- Use your instructor's car for the driving test.
- Drop off at your chosen location
New Driver
If you have no driving experience, we recommend 10 to 15 hours of lessons with an accredited instructor. Less confident learners might need up to 20 hours. Everyone learns at different speeds, so make sure you understand what you've been taught to be a safe driver, not just to pass the test.
Experienced Drivers
If you have some driving experience with a family member or friend, we recommend 7 to 10 hours of lessons to fine-tune your skills and prepare for the test.
International Driver's License Holders
Most international drivers need 3 to 6 hours of lessons to prepare for the test in Australia. Due to a high failure rate, less confident drivers might need 6 to 9 hours before taking the test.
Many people think driving instructors only teach learners, but that's not true. Our instructors often help licensed drivers improve their skills. Reasons include:
- Drivers who haven't driven in a long time.
- Drivers needing a boost in skills, road rule knowledge, or confidence.
- Drivers who moved to busier areas and need help with complex traffic.
- Drivers wanting to learn manual transmission.
You can book a refresher lesson and note your needs when booking.
Your driving lessons will start and end at a convenient location for you. Usually, the pickup spot is your home, but it can also be:
- School
- Work
- Train station
- Driving test centres
Your instructor will make you comfortable during lessons. If you're new or not confident, you'll start in quieter areas with less traffic.
You can book driving lessons for one or two hours. If you're new or not confident, starting with one-hour lessons might be best. Two-hour lessons are popular with both learners and instructors.
We offer discounts if you buy multiple lessons as a package, and you can mix one-hour and two-hour lessons as you like. The lesson time includes pickup and drop-off from your chosen location, all included in the price.
